Going off of my last entry, it's official: I'm on hiatus on both Neopets and Subeta. I have over 50 million stockpiled on Subeta just in case I decide to start playing it again later on, but for now, at least, that account is completely abandoned. As for Neopets, I finished getting lab and petpet lab access on all five of my accounts yesterday. I'll still be logging on there every day, but it'll just be to take care of little things like zapping pets and trading pets when the time comes. I'm still debating about dropping both petsites entirely, as it would probably be best to focus all of my energy on Misticpets and personal projects, but even if I did that, I wouldn't delete my accounts. That's the part that always kills me when I try to quit something: giving it up entirely. I end up missing what I used to have and come back to the site, only to have to rebuild everything from scratch, wasting even more time. If I still have them around, maybe I won't be tempted to spend so much time on them. Who knows. What I want to do is recreate all of my pet characters on Misticpets, but some of them don't work as well with the pets on there. Plus, I don't have enough pet slots. Even at the current cap of 21 pets, I'm not sure if I'd have enough room. Maybe if I limit myself a little on there and keep all of the others on my own personal website, things would work. Hmm. I'll have to think about these things a little more.
In other news, I beat Okami a couple of weeks ago, and I must say that it was an amazing game. It's a lot like the Zelda series in some regards, but the art style and storyline are totally unique. Even though I'm not a religious person, I found myself drawn into its world of gods and demons and feeling moved by what I saw there. It can be really frustrating in parts (the controls are a little wonky and you /have/ to do things in a certain order), but overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with it. It's well worth the $20 that it costs to buy it new nowadays. If you haven't played it yet, I highly, highly suggest picking it up. I'm still trying to figure out all of its secrets.
I have The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, Super Mario Sunshine, and Spyro: A Hero's Tail lying around my house, but I can't play any of them due to the fact that I don't have a GameCube memory card yet. I'm so lame. I was going to buy one off of Amazon until I realized that I would have to pay shipping on them since Amazon, itself, doesn't personally sell the one that I need any more. I should have just snagged the one at GameStop for $20. I also have The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning on the way here. I decided that my curiosity towards the rebooted Spyro series was too great to overlook. I have to know what's going on with this adorable Cynder dragon. xD
I've also been addicted to a show called "Dexter" lately. It's about a serial killer who only takes out the bad guys, the ones who go around and murder innocent people because they feel like it. I didn't think I'd like it all that much when I first heard about it (I'm not into gore or anything like that), but I was completely wrong. It is the best show I've seen in a long time and I'm really excited about all of its twists and turns. Dexter's actor is quite good, and to top it off, he's adorable. The show couldn't be made of more win than it already is. Check it out now, I command you!
I think that's enough rambling for now. Lolz. Back to work on other things. xP
